We’re excited to partner with our neighbors at Pillsbury House + Theatre for their latest production, A Walless Church: The Black Woman’s Guide to Creating God. Sabathani is organizing a small group to attend the 2pm matinee on Sunday, October 6, and we’d love for you to join us. Admission is free (covered through Sabathani Senior Programs), but space is limited, so make sure to secure your spot!
To sign up, contact our Senior Coordinator, Joyce Mayes, by September 30 at jmayes@sabathani.org or call 612-821-2313.
Join the godlings Oru, Nona, and Mo as they embark on a powerful journey exploring what it means to be a Black woman in today’s world. Through dynamic storytelling and role-shifting, they transition between narrators, protagonists, teachers, and gods—offering a deep, heartfelt exploration of divinity, community, and healing. This play is a celebration of Black women’s relationships and the collective path toward wholeness.
