For nearly 60 years, Sabathani Community Center has been a cornerstone of South Minneapolis. Since moving into the former Bryant Junior High School in 1978, our gym has been a vital space for youth, families, and community members to stay active, safe, and connected. It’s also been a hub for community meetings, health fairs, and more.
After years of wear and tear, the gym has just received a much-needed facelift, thanks to the generous support of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Lynx, and US Bank. Their investment in our space is an investment in the strength and well-being of our community.
Now, it’s time to celebrate! Join us for the grand reopening as we come together to rebound and rise.
