Spill the Tea is a welcoming space for seniors to connect, share, and unwind with friendly conversation and good company. Whether you want to discuss current events, offer feedback about Sabathani, or simply enjoy a cozy social hour, this is the place to do it.
This gathering is typically held every other Tuesday, but we’re shifting to Thursday, May 1 for this special edition focused on a timely neighborhood issue.
Enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and occasional treats like fresh pastries.
If you knit, crochet, or do needlework, feel free to bring your project—crafting while chatting is always encouraged.
Special Topic: 35th & 36th Street Reconstruction
This session will feature guest speaker Trey Joiner from Transportation Collaborative & Consultants, who will share details on the upcoming reconstruction of 35th and 36th Streets, right here in the Sabathani neighborhood.
Learn about the goals of the project and how it will:

Upgrade aging infrastructure

Improve street safety and accessibility

Support walking, biking, rolling, and transit

Introduce green spaces and sustainable stormwater systems

Reflect community priorities in the final design
