Shop with Dignity, Donate with Compassion

Everyone deserves access to free clothing and shoes. Whether you’re in need of essential garments or have gently used items to contribute, we invite you to be a part of this community initiative.

Our shelves are stocked with a wide array of clothing options for individuals and families of all ages and sizes. From everyday essentials to special occasion outfits, you’ll find a selection that caters to various styles and preferences.

REGULAR HOURS:

Monday–Wednesday: 12:30pm – 2:30pm
Access once every 15 days. 

Location
We are located at 310 East 38th Street in Minneapolis, on the 23 bus line, or a short walk from the 11, 5, and 18 bus lines.  

When You Arrive: Enter through the main entry on the southeast corner of the building and check in with security. Let them know you are here for the Food Distribution Center. Proceed to the waiting room on the lower level, room 35, and check in with reception. 

Important Visit Information: Please note that you can visit either the Food Distribution Center or the Clothing Closet, but not both during the same visit. Plan your visit accordingly to ensure you get the services you need.

Support the Clothing Closet

Donate Your Gently Used Clothing and Shoes
We welcome donations of clean, gently used clothing or shoes, children’s to adult sizes. Please wash clothes before donating.

Drop off your donation on the lower lowel, in the area of the Clothing Closet, between 10am and 2pm, Monday through Thursday. If you have a very large donation, please connect with security to use the loading dock for drop-off.
