Career Services for Everyone

Our Workforce Strategies program prepares participants for employment in livable-wage jobs. Services include career counseling, goal setting, skill building, resume development, lifestyle assessment, and interview practice. 

1. Workforce Strategies Room: This dedicated space in Suite 120 at Sabathani is equipped with computers, a printer, and job postings. It’s available to you Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm. Feel free to drop by whenever you need a peaceful environment to work on your job applications. 

2. One-on-One Assistance: Maria Sorensen, our Career Coordinator, has open hours weekly, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1 to 3pm in the Workforce Strategies Room. Stop by for personalized assistance without the need for an appointment. 

3. Free Forklift Training & Certification: Sabathani offers a free forklift training on Thursdays and Fridays. In one day, you get certified to run a forklift, and our Workforce Strategies program will refer you to suitable employment opportunities.
