Join us in celebrating Black Business Week in Minneapolis! 

Leading into the nationally recognized National Black Business Month in August, the City of Minneapolis is amplifying, celebrating, strengthening, and supporting Black business development in Minneapolis with Black Business Week, July 24-30. The theme for Black Business Week this year is building generational wealth.

Minneapolis Black Business Week includes a variety of events. These events include opportunities for

  • Business owners and entrepreneurs to learn more about resources and supports
  • Networking with other businesses, City staff, and business organizations
  • Employers and job seekers to connect
  • Residents to shop at Black-owned businesses

“Doing Business with the City” – Thursday, July 27 at Sabathani

As part of the week’s activities, join us at Sabathani on Thursday, July 27, from 12 pm to 2 pm for the “Doing Business with the City” program. This special event will provide insights into becoming a vendor for the City, featuring a panel discussion with City staff and successful business owners. There will also be networking opportunities with City buyers and business support staff. Business owners interested in becoming City vendors are highly encouraged to attend.
