VocalEssence Presents Winter Concert – Witness: Reawakening Love
The Sabathani Vintage Voices is a choir for older adults formed in partnership between Sabathani Senior Center and VocalEssence.
On Sunday, February 26, they will perform alongside members of the VocalEssence Chorus, Ensemble Singers, SOTA Youth Choir, and guest artist Joe Davis and The Poetic Diaspora.
Joe Davis is a Minneapolis-based artist, author, educator, and speaker. He joins VocalEssence choirs, accompanied by a chamber orchestra as well as The New Renaissance, a multi-media production company that cultivates immersive experiences.
The concert is a call for the revival of love, the rebirth of peace, and the emergence of a community where violence ceases.
A fusion of musical styles is interwoven with stories of struggle, resilience, and celebration. We honor lives lost and renew our commitment to a world in which all are free and all can thrive.
