For the past several years, Cassie Walker has held roles within the community rooted in advocacy and education. Working through a restorative lens and prioritizing relationship-building, she has witnessed the power that people, youth, and communities possess when given the support, platforms, and environments to self-advocate.
These experiences have shaped her passion for restorative justice and fostered a holistic approach to community health and well-being. As the Family Access Coordinator at Sabathani, her role is a continuation of that work, creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and supported.
She believes it truly takes a village to create sustainable outcomes for all people. People deserve to feel the strong embrace of their communities and the members within them. Cassie aims to continue being a part of that village. Through consistency, advocacy, and the creation of lasting connections, she works to support and contribute to the collective well-being of the community.
