Sabathani Community Center is more than a building and more than a social service nonprofit. We are a shared community hub, home to dozens of mission-driven nonprofits and small businesses working side by side.
Together, these organizations connect directly with the South Minneapolis community along the vibrant 38th Street corridor. Their presence helps make Sabathani a true one-stop destination—offering a wide range of services, resources, and opportunities under one roof.
What makes this ecosystem especially powerful is the potential for connection: referrals, collaboration, and partnerships that strengthen both the organizations and the community we serve.
We call our tenants Building Partners because that’s exactly what they are — partners in space, in service, and in community.

About: Tea Time is a trans-led Minnesota 501c3 nonprofit. Our new, free, peer-led Transgender Resource Center is open at Sabathani Community Center, 310 E 38th St, Suite H, Minneapolis. The center is focused particularly on trans women and transfeminine people and offers a welcoming place for social connection, community activities, shared computers, and resource navigation. Regular hours are Monday–Friday 1–9pm and Saturday 10am–4pm, with occasional volunteer-staffing changes. Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult for anything other than a quick resource pickup at our drop-in center.
