38th & Chicago Re-Envisioned: Pre-Construction Open House
The City of Minneapolis, in partnership with the community, has re-envisioned the intersection of 38th Street & Chicago Avenue. With construction set to begin in 2026 and substantial completion anticipated in 2027, this is an opportunity to learn what’s ahead and how it may impact the neighborhood.

About the Project
The 38th & Chicago Re-Envisioned project reflects extensive community engagement and planning to transform this important intersection. Construction will take place in phases:
