Join us for an important conversation with Judy Karofsky, author of DisElderly Conduct. This event will explore the history and purpose of assisted living facilities – what they were designed to be, whom they were meant to serve – and examine the realities of today’s eldercare system.
Karofsky will also shed light on the challenges within hospice care, including Medicare’s strict six-month rule and the industry’s growing business focus. Together, we’ll discuss why it’s vital to advocate for stronger regulations and accountability from our elected officials, both state and federal, to ensure better protections for our aging loved ones.
