Discover and craft your climate and environmental justice story!

Open to adults ages 18 and up 

Join Sabathani Community and Change Narrative for a Community Storytelling Workshop to discover and craft your climate and environmental justice story—and the “why” behind your care. 

No prior storytelling experience is necessary. We will work together to draft first-person stories that speak to identity, culture, lived experiences, and the vibrant future we envision. With the goal of building confidence to use our voice to power solutions. 

Participants will share a meal, learn about the power of storytelling to spark change, and hear about opportunities to lend their voices to Environmental Justice rulemaking in Minnesota. All participants will be invited to opt in to sharing their stories live on stage and to reunite in celebration of our collective voices at the January 31 Storytelling Slam.  

A small honorarium will be given at the end of this workshop to all participants in appreciation for being part of this effort to expand the climate and environmental justice conversation.
