Develop Your Balance, Coordination & Inner Calm

Thursdays, February 5 – April 23
11:15am – 12:15pm
Sabathani Community Center – Dance Studio
(Lower level, Room 33)

On rare occasions and weather permitting, class may be offered outdoors at the Courtyard of Sabathani Senior Apartments, 3701 3rd Avenue South.

Tai Chi is a grounded, slow, and accessible movement practice often described as “meditation in motion.” Rooted in an ancient Chinese martial art, Tai Chi Chuan gently trains balance, coordination, and inner calm while supporting overall physical and mental well-being.

This low-impact practice is ideal for anyone looking to move with more ease, reduce stress, and build a steady, resilient body—no prior experience required. While open to adults ages 18 and up, this class is especially well suited for senior community members.
