Living History Museum: Call for Nominations

Sabathani Community Center is now accepting nominations for the next class of inductees to our Living History Museum.

The Living History Museum honors community leaders, advocates, artists, educators, entrepreneurs, and others whose leadership and lasting contributions have helped shape South Minneapolis. New inductees are selected each year through a public nomination process.

Please note: Nominations do not carry over from previous years. If you nominated someone in the past and would like them to be considered this year, please submit a new nomination.

At this time, we are accepting nominations for the first-floor Living History Museum only. Individuals whose primary legacy is in athletics should be nominated during the Sports Hall of Fame nomination period, as the Sports Hall of Fame is a separate exhibit located on the second floor.

The nomination period is open through November 30, 2026.
