
Kiora Kamara is the Family Liaison Specialist at Sabathani, where she gets to do what she loves most: helping others. Born into a West Indian American family, Kiora’s childhood was shaped by the vibrant cultures of Florida and Jamaica. As an adult, she’s lived long-term in four different countries, experiences that have deepened her ability to connect with people from all walks of life and taught her the importance of cultural competency, empathy, and meeting people exactly where they are.
Kiora holds a Bachelor of Social Work and a minor in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University. Her professional journey includes roles as a Housing Case Manager, ESL Teacher, HIV Testing Counselor, and Outreach Specialist—each role reinforcing her belief in the power of community and collaboration.
She lives by the mantra, “What’s for you, will always be for you,” a reminder to trust life’s journey and embrace the moments that allow her to make a difference. Kiora is honored to serve the Sabathani community and is driven by a vision of helping families thrive through connection, understanding, and shared success.
