Natisha Smith, who goes by Tisha, was born and raised in South Minneapolis and brings nearly two decades of experience in the financial industry to her role as Executive Assistant at Sabathani Community Center. Her career includes 19 years of service, most recently as a client account manager, where she honed her skills in organization, attention to detail, and client relations.

Tisha has deep roots in the community, proudly carrying forward the legacy of her grandfather, who owned Minneapolis’ first Black bookstore—Challenge Bookstore on Nicollet Avenue. She got her start in the workforce at Green Central in South Minneapolis, and her lifelong passion for helping and organizing others continues to guide her professional and community-focused endeavors.
