Join us for a free afternoon at the movies – Black History Month edition!

Seniors 55+ are invited to enjoy a film on the big screen in the Sabathani Auditorium.

About the Film: Sarah’s Oil

The remarkable true story of eleven year old Sarah Rector, an African American girl born in Oklahoma Indian Territory in the early 1900s, who believes there is oil beneath the barren land she’s allotted and whose faith is proven right.

Featuring Special Guest: Sherese Roble

Sherese Roble, the great granddaughter of Sarah Rector, will introduce the movie and take questions afterwards.
