Sabathani Secures $6.4 Million in Funding for Community Energy Project 

Sabathani Community Center has reached a major milestone in our mission to create a more sustainable and thriving community. We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded $6.4 million by the State of Minnesota to support our innovative Community Energy Project. Read the full press release here. 

A Landmark Achievement  

The generous funding includes $6 million dedicated to the development of a state-of-the-art district energy geothermal system. This system will play a crucial role in reducing pollution and carbon emissions, lowering energy costs, and creating new, family-sustaining jobs in the green economy. Additionally, $400,000 has been allocated to our Workforce Development Training Center, which will continue to empower local residents with the skills needed for sustainable employment in the rapidly evolving energy sector.
