
A Taste of African Heritage: Free Healthy Cooking Classes
Join us for a culinary journey celebrating the rich heritage of African cuisine! In this free six-week course, we’ll focus on healthy foods like leafy greens, whole grains, and beans from the African diaspora.
- Enhance your cooking skills and nutritional knowledge.
- Celebrate the culinary traditions of people of African descent.

Dates: 6 Tuesdays, July 29 – September 9 (no class on September 2)
Time: 11am – 1pm
Where: Sabathani Senior Apartments, Community Room
Instructor: Joyce McGee-Brown, University of Minnesota Extension
Eligibility: Open to Seniors age 60 and up
