Let’s All Go to the Lobby: Healthy Cooking Series (55+)
Free Healthy Cooking Series for Adults 55+
Step right up before the show begins! Join us for a fun, hands-on cooking series inspired by the classic movie theater experience. Together, we’ll revisit favorite concession stand treats and discover delicious ways to give them a healthier twist.
Over six weekly sessions, you’ll learn practical cooking skills, explore nutritious ingredients, and prepare better-for-you versions of classic snacks like popcorn, pretzels, and sweet treats. Along the way, we’ll celebrate the rich culinary traditions of people of African descent while discovering simple ways to support lifelong health through food.
Whether you’re looking to add new recipes to your kitchen, eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and beans, or simply enjoy cooking with others in a welcoming environment, this series offers something for everyone.
